Highschool Artwork

This page has some of my old high school drawings.
Which mostly consists of cartoons with a few realism paintings.

This is a small painting I was paid to do of a lovely respite worker's daughter.

This is a year 12 final I did on the issue of war, I only had two weeks to paint realism on a canvas that was the size of me. I was told to make this painting family friendly this time. I just tried to use different figures as a means for symbolisms for meanings and messages. The dead dove represents the death of peace. The crying child cradling the dead dove, represents the innocents affected by war, as well as the future generations. I got the reference of the child from a real war picture of a little girl crying over her dead mother cradling her doll for comfort. The tank represents the violence in warfare. The background is referenced from a devastated street from the Syrian war. It also represents the destruction war can have on a country and economy. The painting is up for interpretation.

This a large painting that I did for one of my year 12 finals. I did the painting on the issue of human trafficking, and to be type of awareness. The actual canvas is human sized and is the size of me. I did it to raise awareness for the atrocity of human trafficking and my personal feelings on the subject. I spent half if not most of the year researching human trafficking and listening to multiple trafficking victims stories. I wanted a serious painting that doesn't sugar coat the topic and put the issue. I also put in different objects to symbolise the many different forms of trafficking. This is an issue that effects both male and females of all ages. The grayscale people in the background are actual trafficking victims of boys and girls in a variety of ages and nationalities. I tried to draw different colours of skin for the hands reaching the main figure to represent that the perpetrators are both male and female of all nationalities.

Another character card for my one-shot comic series.

Another character card for the twin brother of the main character of my one-shot comic series

A little assignment I did for visual communication and design. I drew a character card for the main character for my one-shot comedy comic series.

I had to do a drawing in my art TAFE course on the subject of living the dream. I had a lot of fun creating a little imaginary scenery. I drew a fox roller coaster because foxes are my favourite animal and I love roller coasters, I tried to have it ride in a DNA shaped green rollercoaster rails. I drew my own little character in a fun anime inspired style. I had the scenery in space with a very cartoony planet in the background, and a floating upside down room with melting wooden furniture. I tried to make it a dream like state so I just drew whatever popped into my head at the time.

My year 11 self portrait that I did for school.

I tried to do a pop up chibi drawing some of my oc's as well as some of my beloved characters from Fullmetal Alchemist.

This is an old drawing for comic characters that I used to draw for my friends in high school. I was a huge anime fan and often tried to imitate the style. I drew them in 1930's fashion.

This is my first ever drawing on my phone when I was in year 9. I was trying to do a graphic design type of drawing at the time.
